Thank you so much for your interest in helping us at camp! Please use this link to access our sign-up sheet!

We strongly encourage all who are interested in volunteering to join us for an orientation on June 28th, at 6pm.

At this time we will meet each other, connect faces to names about the camp staff, and orient to the space. We will learn about the bigger picture of the camp at JUMC and across North Carolina. And, we will learn about Safe Sanctuaries practices—a policy that United Methodist churches follow to help protect children from abuse at church.

Did we mention FREE PIZZA?

When you sign up to volunteer, whether online or at orientation, we will run a background check at no cost to you. This will come as an email from Praesidium. When you receive this, be assured it is not phishing. Feel free to call the church and confirm it was sent on purpose. This allows us to run background checks without physically collecting your sensitive data, reducing the risk to you, and allowing us to promise kids and their parents that we will only allow safe people to look after them at church.
