Heartstrings band members have shared with many other area churches throughout the years and are excited to bring an evening of praise home to our church family. The ten-member band has been a fixture at JUMC’s 8:30 a.m. worship service since it began nearly a decade ago. The ensemble has evolved over the years to its current make-up of three guitars, dobro, drums, bass and four vocalists, two of whom do double duty on keyboard.
There is no cost for the event, but we are asking that you please bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation for CUOC.
Light refreshments, provided by United Methodist Women, will be available following the concert for a time of fellowship.
We hope to see everyone there, and remember to bring F.R.A.N. (your Friends, Relatives, Acquaintances, and Neighbors!)

Reaching Out
Here at JUMC we love to sing and praise our Lord.This love of God and the music He has given us is spilling out the church doors and down Woodland Avenue to the Bayberry Retirement Inn.Every Thursday evening from 7—8 pm, folks from JUMC sing with the residents.The residents choose their favorite hymns and enjoy watching Dwayne Williams play the piano.Come join in the praise and worship.
