Christianity is a journey. Though there is a single moment when we decide to commit ourselves to Christ, that moment is only the beginning of a continual process of growing into Christ-like-ness and recommitting ourselves to him again and again.

Make crosses from bars of hand soap as a reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice to cleanse us from our sins.
Draw a cross shape on each bar of soap, then carefully carve away the excess soap using a table knife (keeping the excess to use later!).
Place soap crosses in your bathroom and kitchen soap dishes, and in the kid’s bath.

Prayer for the Month: Father, not my will but Yours be done. Amen. (Luke 22:42)
Mealtime Prayer:For the food that we can see, and for the cross that sets us free, we give thanks to Thee, O God. Amen
A Blessing to Share: May God give you faith in his Son, who died to save you. May the death and resurrection of Jesus bring you life. Amen.

Lenten Prayer Guide / Journal
The Prayer Team is suggesting that during Lent this year, instead of giving something up (or in addition to this self denial), you add something; a vow to make your prayer life more intentional and perhaps slightly more structured.
